A group of English soldiers, while working in Jabalpur, invented a variation of the pyramid pool. Adding to the original 15 reds several colored balls (yellow, green, blue, brown, pink, white and the famous black ball) creating a set of 22 balls to which his colonel Sir Neville Chamberlain of the Devonshire Regiment would involuntarily put the name of “ Snooker ”when his opponent failed his turn.

The variant of this icon was created by Mattel and Albert Carter in 1946. A fortune game in which there was a multi-sided die with different responses that appeared randomly when the ball was shaken and looked into the crystal of the ball.
